TOWN OF BRADFORD, Wis. (WKOW) -- A 15-year-old boy was killed and three others were seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in the Town of Bradford in Rock County.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office says the crash occurred around 3:50 p.m. near S. Emerald Grove Road and E. Larsen Road. A Volkswagen Rabbit driven by a 17-year-old from Beloit lost control, went into a ditch, and rolled several times before coming to rest in a nearby cornfield.
The 15-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other juveniles were taken to hospitals with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was medically cleared and then taken into custody on a charge of homicide by negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
