Plane crash kills at least seven as more fatalities feared

At least seven people have died following a huge plane crash that exploded during takeoff.

More fatalities are feared after several others were injured when the large cargo plane crashed into a fireball in Louisville in Kentucky.

The horrifying scenes were captured on social media. The incident happened while taking off from the Louisville airport, leaving a trail of flames just miles from the city’s downtown, reports the Star .

The plane crashed at about 5:15pm, after its left wing caught fire. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 aircraft, made in 1991, was departing for Honolulu from UPS Worldport at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.
