NORTHUMBERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- A Northumberland man is facing multiple charges after a reported disturbance in the town. According to New York State Police, Correa Rodriguez, 36, is accused of robbing and assaulting another person.
On Monday, around 9:10 a.m. troopers responded to a report of a disturbance in the town, but when they arrived, the suspect, later identified as Rodriquez, had left the scene. Investigators said during an altercation, he reportedly hit and injured the victim and forcibly took their phone while also allegedly showing a handgun, aiming it at the victim.
Deputies with the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office found Rodriquez walking nearby, and he was taken into custody. Troopers said while being taken into custody, deputies reportedly found the handgun, the victim's
