An approaching storm will bring an increasing threat for showers (and later tonight, some high-elevation snow in the Greens and Adirondacks). More notably for all, however, will be a big increase in winds later today into tomorrow morning, which could lead to scattered power outages and a few downed trees. By the end of our 7-Day, temperatures will feel a bit more like early December!
Main concern for the next 24 or so hours will be the winds. Peak gusts tonight will generally top out between 50 and 60 MPH. Timing-wise, the worse of these winds look to be from about 9 PM tonight through 4 AM Thursday.
