KNOXVILLE, Tenn — The Knoxville Police Department said a driver was charged after they traveled the wrong direction on Locust Street and Cumberland Avenue, causing a crash Wednesday morning.

According to KPD, the driver clipped a KAT bus before striking another vehicle head-on.

The driver reportedly fled the scene before being captured by police, KPD said.
