No plane found after man believed he saw one going into Star Lake in Otter Tail County

OTTER TAIL CO., Minn. (KVRR) — First responders were sent on a while chase this morning in Otter Tail County.

The sheriff’s office got a report from someone believing he saw an airplane go into the southeast side of Star Lake around 10 a.m.

Responders from the sheriff’s office, Perham Ambulance and Fire Department, Vergas Fire Department, Dent Fire Department, DNR, and Life Link responded.

After an extensive search, no aircraft was found to have entered the water.
