Joanne Stanchin used to have to plan time away from home based on her incontinence needs.

Now, the Toledo resident said, she’s excited to hear she could get help with the supplies she needs to live a more independent life.

“Believe me, when you have incontinence issues you tend to plan your life around them,” she said. “It is hard to do when you may not have them on hand.”

On Wednesday, the Ability Center along with the Area Office on Aging, and Principle Business Enterprises launched the new Northwest Ohio Medical Supply Closet.

Through the closet, area residents and caregivers can receive Tranquility incontinence products free of charge.
