A youth-driven study in B.C. has found that vaping is not nearly as prevalent among young people as some might think, with a solid majority of those aged 12 to 19 saying they had never tried it.
But nearly three in 10 had vaped at least once, and many of those said they had tried increasingly popular nicotine pouches, driven by the perceived energy boost from the highly addictive stimulant. Others said they vaped to relieve stress, relax or focus.
