Police are out in Edinburgh combatting 'disorder' after years of anti-social behaviour on Bonfire Night in the capital.

Footage has been released by Police Scotland which shows the view from one of the force helicopters. Residents who are out in the street can be seen in white, with officers able to locate larger groups.

The police helicopter has been visible on FlightRadar24 on Wednesday, November 5, making its way round areas in the city. This comes after buses were diverted from a busy city road due to ant-social behaviour.

Officers can also be heard communicating between those on the ground and the air support unit, successfully identifying potential problem groups and people in the area seen with their faces covered.
