BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Officials from Bismarck State College have announced the school will be relaunching its football program after more than 40 years.
The Mystics' new football program will be competing in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The Mystics will be in the Frontier Conference with schools such as Dakota State and Montana Tech.
It's been over 40 years in the making, as the Mystics had a football team from 1946 to 1962 and then again from 1971 to 1985.
