GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - What’s been called “Brown County’s most dangerous intersection” is improving that reputation after the completion of several safety features.

Phase two of the project, which targeted the intersection of Packerland and Trojan Drive, is now finalized.

It included new curbs and gutters, roadway repairs, sidewalks, and the construction of a 2-lane roundabout featuring crosswalks for pedestrians and rotating reflective flashing beacons for drivers.

The county says it will now wait to see how those changes are impacting foot traffic, especially nearby Southwest High School, and will make modifications if necessary.
