LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A man is dead after being shot multiple times in south Louisville Wednesday night.

Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the 7800 block of Manslick Road around 7:45 p.m. about a shooting.

Officers arrived and found a man inside a home who had been shot multiple times. The man died at the scene.

Police have not released details about the victim.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
