Megan Kelly and Mia Painchaud each scored twice and sixth-seeded Shore erupted for six goals in the second half to beat 11th-seeded New Egypt 7-1 in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group 1 playoffs in West Long Branch.
The Blue Devils (12-7) will stay at home for the quarterfinals, as they will host 14th-seeded Roselle Park, an upset winner over third-seeded Florence.
Jenna Eichenbaum scored her team-high 22nd goal and added two assists for Shore, which was locked in a 1-1 tie at the half.
Julia Schorr scored for New Egypt (9-9-1).
