FAIRFIELD, Ohio (WXIX) - A group of children ages 6 to 11 is facing felony charges after police claim they broke into Creekside Middle School’s wrestling room and committed acts of vandalism.

In court documents, police state that six children broke into the room on Sept. 25. Further investigation led them to say that the children had broken into the area on two previous occasions.

Police said the kids had used a garden hose to flood the wrestling room on two different occasions.

They also accused the children of breaking a weight scale and the door they used to enter. They said that the children had also stolen several items.

The group consisted of an 11-year-old, three 10-year-olds, a 9-year-old and a 6-year-old.
