Veterans Day is a time to pause and reflect on the few who are willing to give up everything for the many. The holiday is well-timed to occur before Thanksgiving, so that when we sit down with our family and friends to enjoy a meal together, we’ve had an opportunity to be grateful for the service members who have sacrificed so much for our sake.

Veterans Day Parade: The 37th annual rain-or-shine Lough Legacy Veterans Day Parade is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
