LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Agents from the FBI are assisting NTSB investigators in the search for clues into the crash of a UPS cargo plane at Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport.
Evidence response teams from FBI headquarters and several field offices are on the ground in Louisville as investigators work to recover debris from the MD-11F jet that crashed during the late afternoon of Nov. 4, 2025.
The NTSB has said that the left engine of the jet detached from the wing while the aircraft was on its takeoff roll. The engine was found on the airport grounds between the parallel runways.
