A beloved young man from North Yorkshire was found unresponsive in a hotel room in Thailand, with an inquest confirming his death was due to morphine toxicity. Connor Abbott, 23, a York City fan, was discovered in a room at the D and D Inn Hotel on Khaosan Road, Bangkok, on September 22 last year.
The inquest, held by North Yorkshire coroner Jon Heath, concluded earlier this week. In his Record of Inquest, Mr Heath stated: "On 22 September 2024, Connor William Abbott was found unresponsive in a room at the D and D Inn Hotel, 68-70 Talot Yot, Pra Nakhon Set, Bangkok, Thailand. His death there was confirmed that day."
