BEMIDJI — Minnesota Duluth women's soccer finished the 2025 campaign with a 2-0 loss to Bemidji State on the road Thursday night.
UMD did generate six shot attempts and put all of them on target, but BSU goalkeeper Sonia Alfieri was equal to all of them.
Bemidji did all of its damage in a short stretch of the first half, first after Katrina Barthelt's goal in the 20th minute, then on a Kenzie Harer tally about two-and-a-half minutes later.
Kaycee Chavez made six saves in the last contest of her collegiate career.
Bemidji State earned the second seed in the NSIC tournament, which begins on Monday at campus sites.
UMD finishes its season in 10th place in the NSIC with a league record of 5-7-3 and overall record of 6-8-4.
