LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- A portion of US-127 in Lansing will see closures early Friday morning to replace power lines damaged in a Wednesday crash, MDOT announced Thursday.
Zayo and US Signal received permits to work on power lines on both north and southbound of US-127 between Saginaw Street and Kalamazoo Street.
The work will replace power lines damaged by a Wednesday afternoon crash that knocked down power lines on Homer Street and led to a highway closure due to debris. • (WLNS) • (WLNS) • (WLNS) • (WLNS)
Work on the lines is expected to begin at 4 a.m. Friday and wrap up around an hour later.
Michigan State Police will be on the scene for traffic control. MDOT says drivers should expect delays.
