BELOIT, Wis. (WKOW) – This holiday season, Beloit Public Library is offering a unique way to clear late fines while supporting the community.

Patrons can donate nonperishable food items to receive $1 credit per item, up to $10, through the end of November. Donations must be unexpired, undamaged, and unopened. The library says they will give all contributions to The Salvation Army Rock County, which supports local residents with food, rent, and other essential services.

The credit applies only to late fines, not fees for lost or damaged items. For more details, visit the library or call (608) 364-2905.
