An alleged drink driver was involved in a Friday night Norton car-flip drama. The incident happened in Beaconsfield Road, Norton, when a Ford Fiesta ended up flipping onto its side.

A large emergency services response attended, including around eight Police vehicles, two fire engines and an ambulance. The road was cordoned off while Cleveland Police officers dealt with the matter.

A 46-year-old woman was arrested and has since been charged with drink driving. A force spokeswoman said: "A woman has been charged following a collision in Stockton on Friday evening, November 7. Officers were called when a Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision and was left on its side on Beaconsfield Road around 7.10pm.
