AUSTIN (KXAN) -- Veterans were invited to celebrate Texas Veterans Legal Aid Week, which occurs from Nov. 10 through Nov. 16.

The effort was created by the Texas Access to Justice Foundation (TAJF) in recognition of Veterans Day.

TAJF said the mission for the event is to provide free legal assistance programs across the state through facilitated legal aid programs, pro bono private lawyers and law school legal services.
