EUGENE, Ore-- Over the last two seasons Oregon kicker Atticus Sappington has gained a very special nickname down in the pond of Eugene, Oregon.
The title put upon him by his teammates 'automaticus'. While the senior kicker hasn't always been automatic this season, only making 72% of his field goals through eight games, he was certainly on point on Saturday.
With No. 9 Oregon down by just a single point with less than two minutes left to go against No. 20 Iowa, Sappington was waiting for his moment.
