PHOENIX — Three people are in critical condition following a fiery crash in west Phoenix on Monday morning, according to the city's fire department.

At 3:30 a.m., firefighters were called to the area of 35th Avenue and Van Buren Street due to a vehicle crash.

Once Phoenix Fire arrived on the scene, one car involved in the crash was reportedly on fire.

Officials said crews extinguished the fire and everyone in the vehicle was taken out.

Three people, one female and two males, were evaluated and taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment, officials said.

All three are in critical condition, according to Phoenix Fire.
