Mum feared toddler was dying as he choked on sweet from Aldi View 2 Images

A mum feared her tot was dying in her arms when he 'stopped breathing for two minutes and turned blue' - after choking on an Aldi sweet. Bethany Holden gave her 16-month-old son Brody McAllister chewy sweets 'Dino Gems' she'd bought from Aldi as dessert after his dinner.

After finishing half the packet, Brody turned silent and it his frantic parents realised he was choking. Stay-at-home mum Bethany, 29, began patting his back before partner Stefan McAllister began delivering back blows to help clear Brody's airways.
