A vehicle has detonated at a bustling station in New Delhi, claiming the lives of at least eight individuals and reportedly wounding numerous others. ‌

Emergency services rushed to the location after a car parked close to Red Fort Metro Station was ripped apart by the force of the explosion. Disturbing footage captured following the blast revealed half a dozen burnt-out vehicles and wreckage scattered across the carriageway as officers and medics descended on the area. ‌
