A 32-year-old woman in Wisconsin is accused of killing her friend last week, allegedly claiming she grew "paranoid" after smoking marijuana and believed that the 26-year-old victim was going to stab her.
Jamica Mills was taken into custody on Saturday and charged with one count of first-degree reckless homicide along with a modifier for using a dangerous weapon in the slaying of Ariel Spillner, court records show.
According to a criminal complaint obtained by Law&Crime, at about 9:43 p.m. on Nov. 4, officers with the Milwaukee Police Department responded to a call about a possible shooting at an apartment complex in the 5100 block of 39th Street. Upon arriving, first responders said they located two women inside of a lower unit, later identified as Mills and Spillner.
