New Delhi: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has announced the temporary closure of the Red Fort for visitors from November 11 to November 13. The blast which occurred at Netaji Subhash Marg near Red Fort Chowk claimed nine lives and left over 20 injured.
The Station House Officer (SHO) of Kotwali Police Station requested the closure to facilitate ongoing forensic and security investigations. The letter stated that “the investigation of the scene of crime is in progress but yet to be completed,” and asked the ASI to keep the fort closed “for visitors for three days from 11/11/2025 to 13/11/2025.”
