NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – More than a dozen flights to and from Charleston International Airport have been cancelled, and several others are delayed on Tuesday after U.S. airlines were told to reduce flights amid the ongoing government shutdown.
According to the airport’s website, flights coming from Baltimore, New York, Chicago, Boston, and Louisville were impacted, along with planes headed to those same cities, as well as Charlotte and Atlanta.
The airport also saw a handful of canceled flights and delays on Monday, leaving many passengers in travel limbo and hopeful for a resolution before the peak holiday travel season begins.
