Police are investigating a sexual assault on a sleeping woman which occurred on a train .
On October 23, a woman on board a train between Edinburgh and Wolverhampton woke up and found a man was sexually assaulting her. The man disembarked at Wolverhampton station .
British Transport Police (BTP) released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to as part of the investigation. Detectives believe the man in the image may have information that could help.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "At around 9am on Thursday, October 23, a woman travelling on the service woke up to a man sexually assaulting her.
"He then got off the train at Wolverhampton station."
