The YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga is serving free meals to children at 46 sites across Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia. This includes the J.A. Henry and North Georgia YMCA branches.

They serve meals at City of Chattanooga community centers, libraries, churches, YMCA afterschool sites, community partner locations and schools.

In this current school year, the YMCA says its J.A. Henry branch has an increased volume of about 66%.

The YMCA's food program is open to all children up to 18 years old. In Tennessee, children in Bradley, Hamilton, Polk, Rhea and Sequatchie Counties are eligible. In North Georgia, meals are available only to enrolled children at YMCA afterschool sites.
