An East Lothian woman has been taken to hospital after a collision on a busy high street.
The crash involved a car and a female pedestrian on Musselburgh's main thoroughfare. Emergency services were called to the scene at around 5.35pm on Tuesday, November 11.
The woman was rushed to hospital, and her condition is not known at this time. Local reports suggested she received CPR at the scene from paramedics.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving a car and a female pedestrian on High Street, Musselburgh around 5.35pm on Tuesday, 11 November, 2025.
"The woman has been taken to hospital and the road has since reopened."
Local witness Connor Leadbetter told us: "Someone's been knocked down on Musselburgh High Street.
