RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - 10 Torr , a Reno-based distillery and brewery, invites the public to a special release event for a limited edition rum with Washoe County Sheriff Department’s K9 Jett featured on the label.

“Crafting rum takes patience, dedication, and heart,” said Jamie Evans, chief financial officer for 10 Torr. “These qualities are exactly what our K9 teams bring to our community every day. We’re proud to raise a glass, and invite the community to help us raise funds, to support the handlers and dogs who help keep Washoe County safe.”

The fundraiser is slated for 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at the brewery’s tasting room at 490 Mill Street with proceeds supporting the Washoe County K9 Partners and its Barks & Badges event.
