COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A lucky lottery player in the Midlands recently took home $2 million.
The South Carolina Education Lottery said the winning “Double Up!” ticket was bought at the Rainbow Mart on Columbia Avenue in Chapin.
The winner told lottery officials that she’s now debt-free thanks to the $20 ticket.
Officials also said she beat the 1 in 1,080,000 odds in the game. One more top prize of $2 million remains in the game.
Rainbow Mart in Chapin also received a $20,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
