GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - A U.S. federal judge sentenced a Menominee County woman to 5 years in prison plus another 5 years of extended supervision for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

Dianna Chevalier, 41, formerly from Keshena, pleaded guilty to the charge, which stemmed from her arrest last September after a police chase.

She was the passenger in a car that fled a Shawano County deputy. The chase continued into the Menominee reservation, with tribal police joining the pursuit. When the car stopped and Chevalier jumped out, but she was apprehended.

She had multiple plastic bags with her, which prosecutors say contained over 43 grams of meth.
