Over 50 new homes could be built in a Cambridgeshire village. R2 Developments Ltd has proposed to build up to 55 homes on land to the north-west of Great Gransden in Huntingdonshire .

Of the homes, up to 40 percent will be affordable and they will be a range of one to four-bedroom homes. The application states that the home will be “evenly distributed” across the site.

The developers said the land has the “capacity to deliver new homes” in Huntingdonshire. It added: “The overarching vision for the land north-west of Great Gransden is to create a high-quality, locally distinctive, and sustainable extension to the village - an area where people will want to live.
