LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - A police chase across two Kansas counties ended in one woman’s arrest, local officials reported.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office first posted about the incident Monday morning, and the Ottawa Police Department later provided additional details.

It started around 10:20 a.m. on June 16. According to reports, Franklin County officials alerted Douglas County deputies that a stolen Chevrolet Tahoe was speeding north on U.S. 59 Highway and was about to cross the county line.
