Education and social issues are expected to dominate 2026 state policy discussions, according to a survey of Tennessee policy insiders by Capitol Resources.
Fifty-two percent of respondents said K-12 education issues, such as the TISA ( Tennessee Investment in Student Achievement) Act funding formula, teacher pay, testing and standards, and school choice will have the most significant influence on public policy.
