BUFFALO, N.Y. — Several downtown businesses say they're expecting big crowds with so many events happening Friday night and into this weekend.

Businesses like Big Ditch Brewing Company and The Banshee Irish Pub tell us they're ready to welcome the influx of people.

At The Banshee, co-owner Connor Hawkins says the number of events happening at once — from "Wicked" at Shea’s, to Paul McCartney at the arena, to festivities surrounding Dion Dawkins, plus the Bills game — is huge for their business.

“It’s going to be insane,” Hawkins said. “This is great. Love the city when it’s as busy as this.”

To prepare, Hawkins says they’ve increased staffing across the board.
