A 19-year-old East Haven man was killed in a late-night crash in Branford on Saturday, police said.

The Branford Police Department and Branford Fire Department responded to a call at about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday night at a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of North Main Street and Cedar Street, according to the Branford Police Department .

“One of the operators sustained severe injuries, and first responders immediately initiated life-saving measures,” police said. “Three people were transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of injuries of the crash.”

The 19-year-old man, who suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision, has not identified at this time pending family notification, according to police.
