A pedestrian is hospitalized after he was struck by a car early Sunday in Middlesex County, police said.
Officers responded to a report of a crash involving a pedestrian on the ramp from Route 1 north to Saint Georges Avenue southbound in Woodbridge Township around 2:30 a.m., police said.
Officers found the man in the roadway and the motorist still at the scene when they arrived.
The driver was exiting Route 1 when the vehicle hit a man crossing the ramp on foot, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital and was listed in stable condition on Sunday morning, according to police.
