ORANGEBURG, S.C. — The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety said one person has been arrested following last Friday's shooting inside a local grocery store .

At a press conference Monday morning, Orangeburg Department of Public Safety Chief Charles Austin announced that 21-year-old Tajari Riley was taken into custody and charged with breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature after a single shot was fired inside the Food Lion on Chestnut Street on November 14. Riley turned himself in Friday evening and was granted bond Saturday morning. His bond was set at $25,000, and he is required to wear an ankle monitor

According to investigators, the bullet lodged in the store’s ceiling, causing minor property damage.
