GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A Grovetown High School student is in trouble has they made a threat to another student, according to school officials.

In a letter sent to parents, officials say a student made a comment of a threatening nature against another student in a classroom.

The student was removed from the classroom and is being held accountable according to the code of conduct and the law, according to officials.

“Parents, please speak with your student about the dangers of making inappropriate or threatening comments, even in a joking manner, and the serious consequences that will follow,” school officials said in the letter.
