CLEVELAND, Ohio — A new holiday speakeasy has joined Greater Cleveland’s lineup of Christmas-themed bars, bringing a festive, Prohibition-era flair to the InterContinental Cleveland .

A Winter’s Tale is the latest experience at the hotel at 9801 Carnegie Ave., Cleveland, open now through December 20. It’s a true speakeasy, with a hidden door, complete with an old-school knocker, through the hotel lobby. To get inside, patrons even have to ask the reception desk for a secret password.

Inside is a bar and lounge that feels like a study hidden in the corner of a massive 20th century mansion.
