Police have issued an urgent appeal for help to trace a woman who went missing from Stepping Hill hospital.

Christie left the hospital in Stockport at around 12.30pm on Saturday (November 15), police said.

The 33-year-old, who is from the Buxton area, could have then possibly caught a bus or a train to the Manchester area.

Officers said there was a further sighting of her in Levenshulme at around 1pm on Sunday.

Buxton Police shared a picture of Christie on social media as part of an urgent appeal to track her down, and said they are 'growing concerned' about her welfare.

The appeal was also shared by Greater Manchester Police today (Tuesday).
