LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Mayor Craig Greenberg and Louisville Parks and Recreation are acknowledging recent success from the city’s Park Ranger Program after several arrests were made over the past month involving vandalism and theft in local parks.

The Park Ranger Program was put in place to help solve crimes and protect park property. Vandalism and thefts were costing the parks thousands of dollars, and coordinated investigations by Chief Park Ranger James Brown with support from the Louisville Metro Police Department, or LMPD, helped make progress in stopping these incidents.
