Police cars descended on a McDonald's restaurant near Bristol today after reports of a violent altercation. The incident occurred outside the fast food outlet on Station Road in Filton just before 1pm.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that one individual was hospitalised following the fight. Fortunately, the man's injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-changing.
The area surrounding the restaurant was sealed off as officers began their investigation. A police spokesperson stated, "Officers were called to Station Road... following reports of an altercation outside the McDonald's Restaurant."
The police are actively working to identify other individuals involved in the incident. They have urged anyone who witnessed the event or was in the vicinity at the time to come forward.
"If you were in the area at the time of the incident and saw anything, please call 101 and quote reference 5225323575," the spokesperson added.
