CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The man accused of vehicles and causing a Border Patrol agent to be injured in Charlotte on Sunday has been federally indicted, records revealed.
The man -- 24-year-old Miguel Angel Garcia Martinez -- allegedly followed federal agents around on Sunday, Nov. 16, according to a federal affidavit.
Per that affidavit, Martinez told authorities he was in a private Instagram chat, where he was confirming the locations of and sending pictures of federal agents. Those pictures and information were then posted to a public Instagram account.
The affidavit said Martinez -- who was driving a white Sprinter van -- at one point took pictures of agents in a post office parking lot, then followed them into a bowling alley parking lot and took more pictures.
