A 15-year-old Guelph boy became the second teen arrested in connection with a group assault last month.
Police said the incident occurred on Oct. 9 at roughly 7:45 p.m., when several teens were at a school on Scottsdale Drive and one boy was struck in the back of the head and knocked to the ground.
Three boys then kicked him repeatedly in the head and torso, causing a chipped tooth and other injuries, police said. He also had his hoodie torn and his vape stolen.
The teen was charged with assault causing bodily harm, mischief under $5,000 and theft. He will appear in court Jan. 7.
Another 15-year-old Guelph boy was previously arrested on the same charges.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
