KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Mostly dry for the rest of the afternoon before a few scattered showers and storms work through late tonight.
TUESDAY: Windy and warmer with highs in the mid 60s to near 70 area wide. Outdoor burning is discouraged due to extremely dry air and wind. Winds will be southwest 10-20 mph. Clouds will increase throughout the afternoon hours.
TUESDAY NIGHT: As we near sunset and through the overnight hours, isolated downpours and a few rumbles of thunder will begin to work in. Coverage picks up a bit, especially after midnight. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s. A few storms could have some gusty winds.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few lingering showers possible in the morning. Highs will be in the low 70s. Lows will be in the 50s.
